Anti-arrhythmics, class I-C are a form of fast sodium channel blocking anti-arrhythmic used to treat irregular heart rhythms, atrial fibrillation, and tachycardia (fast heartbeat). They work by slowing the influx of sodium ions into the heart's muscle cells.
