Beta-blockers, Ophthalmic, Combination
Beta-blockers, ophthalmic combinations are used to treat glaucoma and relieve pressure in the eye. They contain beta blockers, such as timolol, which decrease the production of fluid. Combination medications also contain other agents, such as alpha agonists, to improve drainage, reduce pressure and decrease the production of fluid. A commonly prescribed beta-blocker ophthalmic combination is Combigan (brimonidine, timolol maleate).
