Cytostatic Anti-androgens
Cytostatic anti-androgens are primarily used to treat patients with prostate cancer, but are also used in benign prostatic hyperplasia and hyperandrogenism treatment. They prevent androgens, such as testosterone, from affecting the body by inhibiting or suppressing androgen production. Commonly used cytostatic anti-androgens include Zytiga (abiraterone) and Casodex (bicalutamide).
