H2 Antagonists
H2 antagonists, or histamine-2 antagonists, are used to treat heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastrointestinal hypersecretory conditions and gastrointestinal ulcers. They work by blocking histamine-induced gastric acid secretion in the stomach lining. Commonly used H2 antagonists include Zantac (ranitidine) and Pepcid (famotidine).

- multiple endocrine adenoma syndrome
- Heartburn
- Duodenal Ulcer
- Gastric Ulcer
- systemic mastocytosis

- gastroesophageal reflux
