Taxanes
Taxanes, also known as microtubule inhibitors, are medicines used to treat a range of cancers, including breast, stomach, head, neck, lung and prostate cancer. They work by targeting the fast dividing cancer cells, preventing further growth and killing the targeted cancer cells. Commonly prescribed taxanes include Paclitaxel (paclitaxel), Abraxane (paclitaxel), and Taxotere (docetaxel).
