Scabies
Scabies is a skin rash caused by a parasite called a human itch mite that burrows under the skin and lays eggs. Symptoms of scabies include severe itching and a rash that looks like pimples. It is a contagious condition and can be transmitted directly by skin-to-skin contact.
Scabies is treated with topical antiparasitic treatments, such as ectoparasiticides and scabicides.
