Short-acting B2-stimulants, Inhalant
Short-acting B2-stimulants, inhalants are used to provide quick relief for respiratory conditions, such as asthma and the symptoms of COPD. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways to improve breathing. They have a faster onset than long-acting B2-stimulants and are often referred to "quick acting relievers" or "rescue medications". Commonly prescribed short-acting B2-stimulants, inhalants include ProAir HFA (albuterol), Xopenex (levalbuterol), Ventolin HFA (albuterol), and ProAir RespiClick (albuterol).
