Bed Wetting

Bed Wetting

Bed wetting is a common condition in children occurring while the child sleeps. There are a number of possible causes of this condition, such as bladder issues, an imbalance of hormones, urinary tract infections, or stress. One solution is a urinary bed alarm with a moisture sensor and alarm to wake the child so they can get to the bathroom.

Physicians are likely to try to address the underlying causes of bed wetting, but there are medications to alleviate the condition. Common drug classes prescribed to those with a bed wetting problem include vasopressin (ADH) and analogs and tricyclic and other cyclic antidepressants.
