Oral Thrush
Oral thrush is a fungal infection in the mouth caused by a yeast called Candida. Symptoms of thrush include white bumps or lesions, and yellow patches on the tongue and other areas of the mouth. Oral thrush is a fairly mild, easily treatable infection, but it may be more dangerous for those with weakened immune systems.
Drug classes commonly used to treat oral thrush are azole antifungals and polyene antifungals.
