Antidiuretic Hormones
Antidiuretic hormones, also known as vasopressin, are used to treat hormone imbalances, diabetes insidious, hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease. Vasopressin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland and it helps to control blood pressure by acting on the kidneys and blood vessels. Antidiuretic hormones increase levels of vasopressin in the body. Commonly used antidiuretic hormones include Ddavp (desmopressin) and Stimate (desmopressin).
