Gynecological Antibiotics and Sulfonamides
Gynecological antibiotics and sulfonamides are used topically to stop the growth of certain bacteria and to treat bacterial vaginosis. They work by killing the bacteria causing the infection. A commonly prescribed gynecological antibiotic and sulfonamide is Cleocin (clindamycin).
