Intestinal Antibiotics
Intestinal antibiotics are medicines used to treat certain bacterial infections in the bowel. They work by killing or inhibiting the spread of the bacteria that is the cause of the infection. A commonly prescribed intestinal antibiotic is Vancomycin Hcl (vancomycin).
