Other Alkylating Agents
Alkylating agents are used to treat a range of cancers, including Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, melanoma, brain tumors, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, leukemia and prostate cancer. They work by affecting the ability of the cancer cells to multiply. They are particularly effective against slow-growing cancers, such as leukemia and solid tumors.
