Multi-acting receptor targeted antipsychotics (MARTA) are a form of atypical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. They work by changing the actions of chemicals in the brain. Commonly prescribed multi-acting receptor targeted antipsychotics include Clozaril (clozapine) and Seroquel (quetiapine).
