Ophthalmological Anti-infectives
Ophthalmological anti-infectives are anti-infectives within a product designed to be applied to the eye, such as eye drops, gels or ointments. They include medications such as antibiotics, antifungals, antibacterials, and antivirals. Ophthalmological anti-infectives work killing the infection or inhibiting it from spreading. Some commonly prescribed ophthalmological anti-infectives are Iquix (levofloxacin), Floxin (ofloxacin), Erygel (erythromycin), and Tobrex (tobramycin).
